General Information
  • How Does Qari Work?
    1. Register: Download Qari App on your phone and add your driver’s license and payment method. Once your account is verified you can start your first ride.

    2. Rent: open App see icons on the map and reserve the nearest moped. Inspect for damage and start your ride. The price is counted per minute.

    3. End Ride: park the moped in one of our green parking zones and end your ride through the application.

  • In Which Cities are Qari Mopeds Available?

    As of yet, Qari Electric is only available in Tbilisi and Batumi.

     

  • How Much Is It?

    Signing up is free, the price of the ride is counted per minute.

    Free booking up to 5 min after (optionally) 5 minutes - 1 ₾ (GEL) and 10 minutes – 2 ₾ (GEL).

    0-15 min of ride 0.75 ₾ (GEL) per minute and 0.10 ₾ (GEL) in parking mode.

    After 15 minutes 0.55 ₾ (GEL) per minute and 0.10 ₾ (GEL) in parking mode.  

    Additionally, you can insurance you ride for 0.05 ₾ (GEL) per minute for Damage Protection (Optionally, needs to be subscribed in App)

  • How Do I Sign Up?

    Download Qari App on your phone and follow the instructions: add personal details, payment method and driver’s license of any category (AM, A, B etc)

  • What Else Do I Need to Ride?

    To ride, you will need to be at least 18 years or older and hold a valid A, B or any class of driver’s license. International licenses are also applicable. This information will be asked of you when registering for the app.

     

  • How Do I Present My Driver's License?

    Your driver’s license is accepted on the app through Veriff, a service that uses synchronized identification to verify the license with its owner.

     

  • Ride
  • What Should I Bring for the Ride?

    Have your phone with you for the ride. You will find two helmets placed in the helmet case.

     

  • How Do I Start the Ride?

    Before starting your ride, inspect the moped for damages. If you notice anything, open the APP and tap the REPORT on the upper right corner of your chosen moped. Choose the appropriate category of damage and take a photo

    Tap “Start Qari” on the App. You will know the moped is switched on when you hear a tone and see the screen light up. The helmet case opens by pushing a red button on its back.

    The moped can carry up to 240 kilograms; do not have more than one person ride along with you and do not move heavyweights.

     

  • What Should I Do Before I Get on the Moped?

    Once you start the ride on your app, make sure to inspect and report any damages the moped might have before you get on.

    This ensures your own safety and the safety of the rider community and allows us to keep our mopeds in good shape.

    You can report the damage on the app by clicking REPORT located next to the icon of your moped and choosing the appropriate category, take a photo of damages

     

  • How Do I Book a Moped?

    Find the nearest moped on Qari App’s map and tap an icon. You will now have a free 5-minute reservation to start your ride.

    If you have already reached your moped, scan the QR code located on the steering wheel and start your ride.

  • Am I Allowed to Ride Outside Qari's Designated Zones?

    Riding Qari e-mopeds is only allowed within our designated zones. We recommend you always check our map before starting a ride.

    Be sure the moped has enough energy for your ride. An 100% charged battery covers approximately 45 kilometers, although this is bound to vary depending on weight, speed and type of road.

     

  • How Do I Wear a Helmet?

    There are two helmets of different sizes located in the helmet case of each moped.

    If this is not so, let us know through REPORT

    Use the helmet for your safety during the ride and put it back in its place when you are done.

    If the helmet is damaged, lost or appropriated, you will be fined for property damage. 

     

     

  • Disposable Hygienic Caps

    You will find a set of single-use hygienic caps in the helmet case.

    Consider the environment and rider community and do not use more than you need. 

  • How Do I Start the Moped?

    To start the moped, follow these steps:

    1. Take the moped off the stand and get it into riding position.

    2. Press and hold the green “Start” button until “Ready” appears on the screen.

  • How Do I End a Ride?

    Park the moped in any of the green parking zones displayed in the application;

    Be mindful of pedestrians and other passengers while parking;

    Return both helmets in their case and lock it well. The damage, loss or appropriation of a helmet will result in a fine for property damage.

    After your ride you will receive an email receipt. You can also view your entire ride history on the app.

    If at any point during your ride you experience a problem, let us know on the app’s help chat.

  • What Do I Do, if My Helmet Case Won't Open?

    The helmet case opens by pressing a red button on its rear end. You should also hear an opening sound. If you start your ride but the helmet case won’t open, cancel or end your ride and contact us on the app’s Support Chat.

  • Where I Am not Allowed to Ride?

    Prohibited zones are marked in red on the app, while parking zones are marked in green. We recommend you always check our map at the beginning of your ride. You must also consider Georgian traffic laws and regulations while riding.

  • I Cannot End My Ride, What Should I Do?

    If you are unable to end your ride on the app, check if you have done all of the following:

    The moped must be parked in one of our green parking zones.

    The moped has to be placed on its stand.

    Helmet case needs to be closed shut, Both helmets should be in place (make sure no laces, solid objects, batteries etc. are caught in between the crevice or lock).

    If you have completed all these steps and are still unable to end the ride, please contact us on the app’s Support Chat.

  • Pause Mode
  • Can I Temporarily Park My Moped and Continue Riding Later?

    To temporarily stop your ride, use the “Pause” function in the app represented by two vertical lines. This will block your ride while keeping your booking active.

    To continue your ride just tap “Continue” in the same spot on the app.

     

  • How and Where Can I Pause My Moped?

    You can pause your moped anywhere within Qari’s riding zones and in accordance with the city’s traffic laws. Be mindful of pedestrians, bike and scooter riders when parking.

    When pausing, do not block an exit or entryway or take up a private space. Parking in the wrong spot may result in a parking ticket.

     

  • Billing and Fees
  • Where Can I Find My Ride History and Receipts?

    At the end of each ride, details are previewed on the app and a receipt is emailed to you. To view your entire history, open “History” in the app’s menu.  

  • How Much Does Riding Qari Cost?

    Signing up is free, and the price of the ride is counted per minute. You'll get a signup bonus of 10 ₾ (GEL) 

    After booking your ride, the first 5 minutes are free. For additional booking, 5 minutes - 1 ₾ (GEL) and 10 minutes – 2 ₾ (GEL).



    Unlock fee 1 ₾ (GEL)

    e-Moped ride costs 0.48 ₾ (GEL) per minute and 0.15 ₾ (GEL) in parking mode.

    Ami ride costs 0.59 ₾ (GEL) per minute and 0.15 ₾ (GEL) in parking mode.

    e-Bike ride costs 0.34  ₾ (GEL) per minute and 0.15 ₾ (GEL) in parking mode.

     

    Additionally, you can insure you ride for 0.05 ₾ (GEL) per minute for Damage Protection (Optionally, needs to be subscribed in App)

     

  • How Are Costs Calculated and Payed for?

    The cost of the ride is counted by minutes and your card is automatically charged at the end of your ride.

    The first five minutes of booking a ride with us are free, additional 5 minutes - 1₾ (GEL), 10 minutes - 2₾ (GEL).

  • Am I Charged for Anything When I Am not Using the Moped?

    No, you are only charged when using our services.

  • Are There Any Additional Fees or Hidden Costs?

    Qari does not charge you any additional payments. You will only be charged when using our service.

    The first five minutes of booking a ride with us are free, additional 5 minutes - 1 ₾ (GEL), 10 minutes - 2 ₾ (GEL).

  • How Do I Change My Payment Method?

    You can change your payment method at any time by entering your “Wallet” on the Qari app.

  • Damage and Accidents
  • Do I Have to Inform Qari About Damages on Moped?

    You are required to report any damages on the moped. Keep yourself and other riders safe.

    Before starting your ride, inspect the moped for damages. If you notice anything, open up the app and tap the REPORT on the upper right corner of your chosen moped. Choose the appropriate category of damage and add a photo.

    Minor category damage - this category of damage does endanger the rider’s safety and does not interfere with the ride. Such damages must be reported in order to help us maintain the moped’s condition and avoid being mistaken for the perpetrator.

    Significant Category Damage - this category of damage endangers the rider’s safety and must be reported immediately. In the case of missing helmets, a broken body, missing mirrors, loose steering wheel or other broken parts, do not use the moped and contact us through the app’s Help Chat.

     

  • What Is Qari’s Insurance Policy?

    Qari’s third-party insurance package is active at all points of your ride. This means that the moped is insured against damage and in the event of an accident, the third party is also insured.

     

  • Missing or Damaged Helmet

    There must always be two helmets in the helmet case, before starting and after ending a ride. Let us know about a missing helmet by opening up the app and tapping the REPORT button on the upper right corner of your chosen moped.

    Choose the appropriate category of damage and add a photo.

    If the helmet is missing or damaged you may get fine

     

  • How Do I Report a Damage Before Starting My Ride?

    Before starting your ride, inspect the moped for damages.

    If you notice anything, open up the app and tap the REPORT button on the upper right corner of your chosen moped. Choose the appropriate category of damage and take a photo.

    In the case of significant category damage, contact us through the app’s Help Chat.

  • When Should I Just Leave the Moped?

    If the moped is broken, has missing pieces, is slanted or etc., do not use it and immediately contact us via our help chat.  Also, stop your ride and contact us if the moped is unstable when moving or has a problem regarding the steering wheel. 

    You can find our help chat on the app as well as on our website on the lower right corner.

    You can continue to use a moped in the case of cosmetic damage such as a scratch or graffiti, but first, let us know about it.

     

  • Can I Continue to Ride after an Insignificant Accident?

    An incident of any severity warrants you to stop the ride and notify us via the app’s help chat. The moped will discontinue the activity and our technical team will be sent to inspect.

    General rules for reporting an accident:

    1. Notify us immediately via the app’s Help Chat

    2. Report any damage caused by a third party to the police

    3. Take photos of the damage and the accident scene

  • When Should I Contact the Police?

    If you are caught in an accident that is caused by, or has injured the third party or their property, always call the police.

  • I Got Caught in an Accident, What Should I Do?

    In the case of an accident follow these steps:

    Secure the scene of the accident as much as possible and provide first aid assistance if necessary.

    Call 112 in case of injury or damage caused by a third party.

    Do not leave the scene of the accident until help has arrived and gathered necessary information.

    Inform the police, 112 or fire department that your vehicle is an electric moped.

    Photograph the scene and ask police for an incident number if necessary.

    Contact us: tell us about your situation in the app’s Help Chat and we will send you a damage form to fill out and send back to us along with photos of the scene.

    Remember, Qari’s third party insurance package is active at all points of your ride. This means that the moped is insured against damage and in the event of an accident, the third party is also insured

    Your information is stored in a secured server accessible solely to our employees. Your photos will only be used to verify your driver’s license.
